Turn Your Photo into a Cartoon
Cartoon edits get shared more than any other kind, and the reason is not complicated. A good one is still obviously you, just drawn.

The styles are not interchangeable
Cartoon covers a lot of ground, and picking the wrong one is the usual reason people give up after one try.
- 3D caricature, exaggerated features and soft studio light, the animated film look
- Comic character, thick outlines and flat colour, straight off a comic page
- Sticker, small and cute with a heavy outline, built for chat apps
- Anime double, your face redrawn in anime style, often shown next to the original
- Game skin, you as a playable character
Why some results look like a stranger
Almost always one of two things. Either the face is small or turned away, so there is nothing for the AI to work from, or it is a group photo and the subject is ambiguous.
One person, facing the camera, decent light. That fixes it. For a hand-painted look rather than a cartoon one, try the Ghibli generator instead.
What people do with them
Profile pictures, mostly. After that, sticker packs, birthday and wedding invitations, and printed gifts like mugs and posters.
Downloads come out at full resolution, so the same file works on a phone screen and on a printed poster. Printing something large? Upscale it first.
